In my fridge right now I have sauces from Abe's in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Corky's and Rendevous in Memphis and my 'go to bottle' is Bob's Old South BBQ sauce. Have followed Bob up Sprague and out to the Valley when he was there. Chicken-N-Mo can go toe 2 toe with the best the South has to offer.

Haven't been in for a while. But I can tell you the sweet potato pie. Man that's good. And Bob has been working on his sauce for years.

Chicken-N-Mo is very tasty! Their catfish is fresh and fried to perfection. Their Red Beans and Rice is just the right amount of spice. I highly recommend their Jo jo's with the garlic sauce. I would rate this resturant a 10! Very good Southern food. :)

I moved up here from Arkansas, and your food reminds me of home! The greens are perfection, and I love the catfish and hushpuppies, but everything on the menu is delectable!

Not sure which is better, the catfish, the red beans and rice, or the free advice and wonderful atmosphere!

the pulled pork is commonly known to my friends and i as "unicorn meat", this restaurant is absolutely the closest thing to heaven you will get. You can't go wrong with what you end up ordering and if it tastes different than what you have read about in the reviews then there is not enough of their signature barbecue sauce on it. this place is our ... See MoreTuesday night ritual and there is not one thing bad i can say about it. The service is amazing, the atmosphere is great and as stated earlier, the food is as if the pope has taken every meal served under their roof and wept upon it before it was served. thank you chkn-n-mo!
